WARNING:

When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.

Use of any other parts could create a hazard or cause
product damage.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most

plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of

commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.

WARNING:

Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-

based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact

with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or

destroy plastic which could result in serious personal
injury.

NOZZLE MAINTENANCE

Irregular mist patterns or leakage may be the result of a

clogged or dirty nozzle.

To clean nozzles:



Turn the hose faucet completely off, shut off the pump,
and disconnect the misting tube from the hose adaptor.



Remove the nozzles from the misting tube assembly.



Soak nozzles in Arctic Cove nozzle cleaner (not included)
to loosen foreign materials clogging or restricting the
nozzle.



Using a garden hose, flush debris out of nozzle by back
flushing (running the water through the nozzle backwards
or from the outside to the inside).



Reconnect the nozzle to the misting tube assembly.



Reinstall the misting tube assembly to the hose adaptor.

WARNING:

Ensure all components of misting kit are properly

assembled after maintenance has been performed and

that the system does not leak water. Improper hose

connections and/or leaks can result in a slippery surface

and create a slip and fall hazard.

NOTICE:

Ensure hose adaptor is disconnected and misting kit is

properly drained when not in use and prior to exposure

to freezing temperatures.  Water remaining in misting

kit during freezing conditions may freeze and damage

misting kit.
