Mainframe Operation
3.1
Overview
Chapter 3 provides an overview of front panel operation for the 44M04 when configured
with one or more load modules. The 44M04 Provides DC bias supplies to all installed load
modules as well as cooling based on load demand. It also allows sequences of loads to be
programmed using a time sequence and supports synchronized operation between 2 or more
load modules.
3.2
Front Panel
The front panel layout with four modules installed is shown in Figure 5 below. Each load
module has its own front panel controls and readouts of settings and measurements. Controls
and readouts specific to the mainframe are all located along the bottom edge of the
mainframe front panel. Rack handles shown may be removed unless the unit is to be rack
mounted.
