Create/Recover Restore Point
A restore point consists of a “code plus data” bundle; an application code plus its initialization data.
The application can have one or more restore points (only one in the current implementation). When only one re-
store point is available, create a restore point of the factory configuration (application code and initialization data
saved during production). When the product must be commissioned, create a restore point after commissioning.
The benefit of the restore point is to create the possibility, at any time, to revert to a previous software / configura-
tion when either the update or the initialization data modification failed.
C++ API:
void
SnapSensor::SensorConnection::ApplicationModule::CreateRestorePoint(
unsigned int RestorePointID)
void
SnapSensor::SensorConnection::ApplicationModule::RecoverRestorePoint(
unsigned int RestorePointID)
