Chapter 4 AMIBIOS POST

Step 5 Install the Motherboard

The mounting holes on the motherboard are the same as an AT motherboard. Standoffs and mounting screws should be

supplied with the chassis.

Step

Action

Wear an antistatic wristband. Place the chassis for the motherboard on an
anti-static mat.

Connect the chassis to ground to avoid static damage. Connect an alligator
clip with a wire lead to any unpainted part of the chassis. Ground the other
end of the lead to the same point as the mat and wristband.
