Enterprise-III EISA VLB Motherboard User's Guide

Test for Math Coprocessor

The BIOS System Configuration screen shown at boot up indicates if a math coprocessor is configured. If the coprocessor

is shown as Absent, reinstall as follows.

Step

Action

1

Turn the power off.

2

Check the coprocessor orientation.

3

Press the chip firmly to make sure that it is properly inserted.

4

Inspect the coprocessor to make certain that all pins are connected.

5

Power up again. Call Technical Support at 404-246-8600 if still not configured.
