• Disconnect:
Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power supply:
• If anything unusual occurs during operation.
• Before assembly, and before adding or removing parts, and before
approaching parts that move in use.
• After use, and before cleaning, servicing or moving the machine.
To disconnect, turn the control to the [ 0 ] position and unplug the machine from
the wall outlet. Grip the plug, do not pull the cord when disconnecting.
Usage Conditions and Restrictions
• Domestic use only:
This appliance is suitable for indoor domestic use only. It is
not suitable for commercial or outdoor use.
• Intended purpose:
This appliance is intended for processing domestic quantities
of food. Do not use it for anything other than its intended purpose, and only use it
as described in this manual. Any other use may be hazardous and result in injury.
• Accessories:
Only use this appliance with the accessories supplied; do not use
it with any other accessories. The use of accessories not recommended in this
manual may cause fire, electric shock and/or personal injury.
• Usage restriction:
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children:
Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unattended:
Never leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the
power supply. Disconnect it when you are finished with it or when leaving the room.
• Work surface:
To ensure safe operation, place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface, in a dry environment, close to a power point and away from water and
sources of heat.
• Protect from heat:
Do not place the appliance near any open flame, hot
surface, radiant cooking elements or other source of heat.
• Do not use while empty:
Never operate the blender without any food inside.
• Repair:
This blender contains no user-serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to
open or repair it yourself. Repairs are only to be carried out by qualified personnel.
• WARNING!
Improper assembly and misuse of the appliance can result in severe
injury and damage to the product. We assume no responsibility for any eventual
damages caused by misuse of the product or noncompliance with the instructions.
• CAUTION:
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal
cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by
the utility.
