Warranty

1. Warranty Period
The warranty period is two (2) years from the date of receiving inspection.
However, for chiller coolers

is one (1) year. Also, there is no warranty of optical fibers

Tearing off the seal will void the warranty.

The warranty period of refrigerant circuits is two (2) years or 10,000 hours, whichever
is earlier.

There is no warranty of internal optics (lens and mirror).

2. Warranty Service in Japan
If the product is defective within the warranty period under customer’s normal and proper
use of the product in accordance with the precautions outlined in the operation manual, on
labels attached to the products and so on, repair of the product will be done free of charge at
AMADA WELD TECH CO., LTD. Japan or the customers’ location in Japan.

3. Overseas Warranty Service
(1) Products that are purchased from AMADA WELD TECH’s overseas subsidiaries (listed
on the last page) or authorized overseas distributors are warranted in accordance with
the warranty contract of those companies. Contact the company where the product was
purchased from for the product warranty.
(2) In case that a AMADA WELD TECH product is being set up for operation at overseas
facility
without
the presence of a serviceman of AMADA WELD TECH or AMADA WELD
TECH’s overseas subsidiaries, AMADA WELD TECH shall be released from all
obligations under its warranty even if it is still within the warranty period.
If a defect is produced in the product moved overseas, AMADA WELD TECH or AMADA
WELD TECH’s subsidiaries will provide paid repair according to defect content and
location of use. However, AMADA WELD TECH will provide in-warranty repair if the
product claimed defective is sent to AMADA WELD TECH or AMADA WELD TECH’s
overseas subsidiaries at customer’s expense. The product claimed defective must be
sent to where AMADA WELD TECH specifies.
The product repaired at AMADA WELD TECH, Japan, will be shipped free of charge to
a customer’s designated location in Japan. Freightage to overseas is customer’s
responsibility.
The product repaired at AMADA WELD TECH’s overseas subsidiaries will be shipped to
customer’s designated location at customer’s expense.
(3) In case that a AMADA WELD TECH product is being carried out of Japan (including
operation check and accuracy check) and set up for operation at an overseas facility
under the presence of a serviceman of AMADA WELD TECH or AMADA WELD TECH’s
overseas subsidiaries and the product is defective within the warranty period under
customer’s normal and proper use of the product in accordance with the precautions
outlined in the operation manual, on labels attached to the products and so on, AMADA
