Standard Air Valve Driver Output Connector

 

 

Air Valve Driver 24V Connector

 

 

Pin 

Description

24VAC  (for solenoid) or 24VDC

HEAD_2  (Switched 24VDC common) 

 

 

The Air Valve Driver Output is located on the rear panel of the CD-
A Power Supply and can accommodate both 24VAC and 24VDC 
(Solenoid) Valves.  The voltage is set via a switch located on the rear 
of the CD-A Power Supply just above the Valve Driver connector.  
The switch can be set to 

AC

 (for 24VAC valves) or 

DC

 (for 24VDC 

valves). 

 

The air valve driver output is initiated when the footswitch is 
depressed during the 1

st

 position.  At this time the upper electrode on 

the Weld Head will descend and apply force to the weld pieces. 

 

 

The Valve Driver mating connector is a TE Connectivity 206429-1 connector (Pt # 520-107) + 206358-5 
backshell (Pt # 245-084) + 1-66103-8 terminals (Pt # 253-001).
