12.FAQ/Troubleshooting
1. REASONS FOR DIFFERENT BATTERY PACK WORKING TIMES
Charging time problems, as above, and having not used a battery pack
for a prolonged time will reduce the battery pack working time. This
can be corrected after several charge and discharge operations by
charging & working with your drill. Heavy working conditions such as
large screws into hard wood will use up the battery pack energy faster
than lighter working conditions. Do not re-charge your battery pack
below 0
o
C and above 40
o
C as this will affect performance.
2. WHY DOES THE DRILL NOT TURN ON WHEN I PRESS THE
TRIGGER SWITCH (10)?
The forward/reverse rotation control (4) may be positioned in the lock
function position. Unlock the forward/reverse rotation control (4) by
putting it into the required rotation position – forward or reverse.
Push the trigger switch (10) and the drill / driver will start to rotate.
3. HOW DO I SELECT DIFFERENT TORQUE POSITIONS?
Verify the torque position of the torque adjustment ring (2). You can
find the torque adjustment ring (2) between the chuck (1) and the
drill body. Rotate the torque adjustment ring (2) to align the numbers
(screw driving force) with the triangular indicator on the top of the
drill / driver. To adjust the torque setting, rotate the torque adjustment
ring (2). The higher the number, the higher the output torque.
4. HOW DO I ADJUST THE TORQUE?
To adjust the torque setting, rotate the torque adjustment ring (2).
Position 1 is the lowest torque (screw driving force) and position 21 is
the highest torque (screw driving force).
Controlling the torque allows for better control when using the
drill / driver on specific screwing tasks and assists in preventing over-
fastening and over-tightening.
