6. Important information – Product care

This LED torch uses Lithium Ion Battery Cells. Care MUST be taken to

ensure both the safety and life of the pack is maintained. Ensure you

have read all of the safety notes in the previous pages before using

the LED Torch.

Treat the battery pack with care and within the guidelines of this manual

If the battery pack does become immersed in water or any fluids,

or is subject to a severe drop or it does not operate within the

guidelines of this manual or the supplied manual, immediately stop

using the battery pack and have it checked.

7. Assembly

NOTE:

Before using the tool, read the instruction book

carefully.

There is no assembly required for use of this LED Torch.

7.1 Charging your Battery pack (8)

WARNING:

The charger and battery pack (8) are specially designed

to work together so do not attempt to use any other devices.

Never insert or allow metallic objects into your charger or battery pack

(8) connections because an electrical failure and hazard will occur.

Note:

a) Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use

with the equipment, or any 20V Li-Ion ALDI Xfinity Plus Batteries.

b) If the battery pack (8) is very hot, remove the battery pack (8)

from the charger and allow time for the battery to cool down

before recharging.

c) The battery pack (8) in your new tool is not charged when it

leaves the manufacturer. Therefore it must be fully charged

before using for the first time.

d) Charge the battery pack (8) to reach full or no less than half

charge before storage. If the tool will not be used for long
