Power Switch
Light Steady green Instrument is powered on.
Flashing green Instrument is performing the shutdown cleaning procedure.
LED Status
Indicator Green Normal status.
Orange Warning. Click on the status bar in the NovoExpress software
to review the warning message.
Red Errors. Click on the status bar in the NovoExpress software to
review the error message.
NOTE
If warnings or errors occur, follow the instructions in the prompted dialog box, and
refer to
Troubleshooting in this guide for troubleshooting methods.
The instrument back side (Figure 19) has a power port, four communication ports
and five fluidic connection ports. The power port is used to supply the power to the
instrument through provided power cord. The communication ports are used to
communicate the instrument with NovoCyte Workstation, NovoCyte Fluidics
Station II and other accessories (e.g. NovoSampler Q). The fluidics connection
ports are used to connect the instrument with instrument reagent containers.

NovoCyte Workstation and Monitor
NovoCyte Quanteon flow cytometer comes with NovoCyte Workstation (i.e.
desktop or laptop computer), a monitor and associated accessories. Microsoft
Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, and NovoExpress software are
preinstalled on NovoCyte Workstation. For more details about the NovoCyte
