Terminating the S bus

On a Basic Rate link it is necessary to have the S bus
terminated with 100

at either end. This is normally done by

the NT and the most distant socket on the bus.

When using aurora

Sonata

for simulation on the S interface, you

must switch its 100

termination resistor on or off as

appropriate, to ensure that the bus is correctly terminated.

Note

in Chapter 4 section 1.
