1. Stage Release
— There are several tie wraps
securing the stage, movement motors and assemblies
inside the main cabinet. Remove these to allow both
X and Y movement.
2. Loader Shelf Mounting
— Remove the loader
support shelves (only one for pass-back models)
from the loader crate. They will be fastened to the
bottom of the crate under the loader platform. There
is a right and a left shelf, each with its own specific
set of hardware. (The shelves are marked on the
bottom “R” or “L” and the bags with the hardware
are also marked).
On the left side of the unit, the stage needs to be
moved to line up the guide holes with the screw
holes at the back of the loader shelf.
Mount the Loader Shelves to the 5DX Main Cabinet
using (four) bolts. The two shoulder bolts (3030-
1071) are used in the two outer holes, for the inner
holes use the standard bolts (3030-1083). Secure the
bolts with a 1/4 in. hex wrench. Secure the lower
side of each loader shelf to the standoffs on the side
of the system. (Part numbers for these are: standoffs:
0570-1583, flat washers: (3050-0581, 3/4 in. nuts:
2950-0230). The loader support shelves are
illustrated as installed in
Figure 7 on page 14
