f. From the Operator Control Panel ( Figure 17 ) turn the
X-Ray Enable Key to Enable , then push the X-Ray
On Button .

g. From the DOS prompt type

xrayon -zero
and press

h. Assuming the High Voltage has successfully ramped
up (after 60 minutes) and remained on, from the DOS
prompt, type

IMPORTANT
If the Kilovolts reading in the X-ray control window did not
reach 160, or the X-ray system shut itself off, contact SPT
second level support as soon as possible.
i. Type
vs xray.cfg
, edit the line labeled Cold
Start Rampup to have a value of 15 (the original
value).
j. After editing press ALT +
w
to save the file and press
ALT +
x
to exit the editor.
