7 Make sure that there are no bends or

breakages along the length of the pipe
(Fig. 33).

If the extension should have broken during
the connection to the head, it must be
replaced.

WARNING

Make sure that the air intake is away from
exhaust fumes given off by internal-combustion
engines or harmful fumes.

The following operations must be carried out twice (bearing in mind that this model is double).

  Installation

4 Fit the additional intake filter on the end of

the extension pipe (Fig. 31).

5 Position the end of the extension on which

the intake filter is fitted (air intake) in a
ventilated place protected from atmospheric
agents.

6 Direct the air intake in a position “upwind”

(Fig. 32).
