9a) Figure 24-2.
Slide upper arm (4) over pivot arm assembly (3) until the total length of the arm, from the
center of the pivot to the center of the 90 degree casting, is the same length as measured in
Step 5.3
.
Make sure you have at least 24" overlap of the two arms.
9b) Drill two 3/8" holes through both arms. See above drawing for locations of the two holes.
Important: The arm shall never cover the safety labels located on the spring pivot assembly.
8) Figure 24-1. Mount the Pivot Arm assembly (3) onto the mount using two 3/4" bolts (1) and
split washers (2).
