12.8. DESCRIPTION OF ALARMS
HIGH PRESSURE ALARM: resetting
is automatic until the number of
interventions/hour equals the value
set in parameter AL7, in which case it
switches to manual. In this case resetting
takes place via the keypad, by pressing
the SET button, once the external cause
has disappeared.
The intervention causes the machine to
switch off and the label E01 to appear
on the display.
LOW PRESSURE ALARM: resetting
is automatic until the number of
interventions/hour equals the value
set in parameter AL2, in which case it
switches to manual.
When the compressor starts up, this
alarm is concealed for a period equal
to the value of parameter AL1.
Resetting takes place in the same way
as for the High pressure alarm.
The intervention causes the machine to
switch off and the label E02 to appear
on the display.
S1 PROBE FAULT ALARM: this is activated
if probe S1 (boiler water probe) is short-
circuited or cut off.
The intervention causes the machine to
switch off and the label E03 to appear
on the display.
S2 PROBE FAULT ALARM: this is activated
if probe S2 (outside air probe) is short-
circuited or cut off.
The intervention causes the machine to
switch off and the label E03 to appear
on the display.
HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM: resetting
takes place automatically. It is
activated if probe S1 assumes values
over parameter AL5 for a time period
exceeding parameter AL6.
The intervention causes the machine to
switch off and the label E01 to appear
on the display.
CAUTION: when an alarm status
occurs, press and hold the SET button
for 3 seconds to access the navigation
diagram.
Parameters U01, U02, H01 - H22, AL1-AL6,
the operating hours and the hour count
for the anti-bacterial cycle are stored in
the memory. The operating hours and
anti-bacterial cycle mangement count
stops if the power supply is cut off, and
is resumed from its status immediately
prior to the power supply stoppage.
If the operator notes the repeated
occurrence of the above alarms,
switch off the machine and contact
AERMEC S.p.A or one of its authorised
technical service centres, quoting the
unit identification data provided on the
relevant data plate.

CHECKS BEFORE START-UP
Check the following before activating
the unit:
• The earth wire is connected
correctly;
• The power socket is fi tted with a
protective fuse;
• The plugs are inserted correctly.
13.1. ROUTINE
MAINTENANCE
WARNINGS: before
undertaking any maintenance work,
make sure that the machine is not - and
cannot accidentally be - connected to
the power supply.
The electronic power supply must
therefore be disconnected every time
maintenance work is carried out.
• The customer is responsible for
ensuring all necessary maintenance
work is performed on the heat
pump.
•
Only suitably trained and
qualifi ed personnel may carry out
maintenance work.
• If the unit needs to be disassembled,
safety gloves should be worn to
protect the hands.
13.2. QUARTERLY
CHECKS
• Check that all electrical connections
are securely fastened.
• Check the calibration values and
the programming parameters.
• Check the condition of the fan and
compressor contacts.
• Check the hydraulic circuit fi lters.
• Check the sacrifi cial anode.
• Check the system safety valve is
working properly.
• Check the system expansion tank
pre-load.
• Check the overall condition of the
unit and the system as a whole and
make sure there are no leaks.
13.3. ANNUAL CHECKS AT EACH
START-UP
• Check the refrigerant charge.
• Check
the
fi lter-dryer fi lter.
• Check the cooling circuit for signs of
wear.
• Check the electric heating element.
• Check the bolts, nuts, fl anges and
water connections are fastened
securely, as vibrations could have
loosened them.
