1. GENERAL WARNINGS
1.1. UNIT IDENTIFICATION
The SWP heat pump is designed and
manufactured exclusively for domestic
hot water production; the unit is not
compatible with toxic gases and
flammable materials, therefore its
use in environments where the air is
mixed with/altered by other gaseous
components and/or solid particles
is strictly prohibited. The use of the
machine for any purpose other than
those stipulated, and which does not
comply with the instructions provided in
this manual, will automatically release
the Manufacturer and its Distributors
from all direct and/or indirect
responsibility.
1.2. STORAGE OF THE
DOCUMENTATION
This instruction manual is an integral part
of the appliance and as such must be
stored with care; it should always be kept
with the appliance, even if it is passed
on to another owner/user or transferred
to another site. If it is damaged or lost,
contact the Manufacturer to request a
replacement copy.
REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE WORK
MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY AUTHORISED
AERMEC S.P.A. TECHNICIANS
OR BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL, IN
COMPLIANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS
PROVIDED IN THIS MANUAL.
ALTERING OR TAMPERING WITH THE
APPLIANCE MAY CREATE HAZARDOUS
SITUATIONS. IN THESE SITUATIONS THE
MANUFACTURER CANNOT BE HELD
RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE
CAUSED.
2. FUNDAMENTAL RULES FOR
INSTALLATION
The SWP must be installed by a
company in accordance with Law 46
dated 5th March 1990 which, when the
work is complete, ensures the owner is
left with a declaration of conformity to
confirm that installation took place in a
professional manner, i.e. in compliance
with current legislation and the
instructions provided by AERMEC S.p.A
in this manual.
THE MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT,
THEREFORE, ACCEPT ANY CONTRACTUAL
OR EXTRA-CONTRACTUAL RESPONSIBILITY
FOR DAMAGES TO PEOPLE, ANIMALS OR
POSSESSIONS RESULTING FROM ERRORS
IN INSTALLATION, ADJUSTMENT AND
MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES, OR FROM
IMPROPER USE OF THE EQUIPMENT.
2.1. FUNDAMENTAL RULES FOR
SAFETY
We must remind you that products
which require electricity and water must
be used in accordance with several
fundamental safety rules, namely:
• Do not touch the appliance when
barefoot, or with any wet or damp
parts of the body.
• Do not carry out any maintenance
or cleaning work without having
disconnected the appliance from
the power supply by setting the
main system switch to "off".
• Do not pull, disconnect or twist the
electric cables coming out of the
appliance, even when it has been
disconnected from the power
supply.
• Do not climb, sit or lean on the
appliance, or stand any kind of
object on it.
• Do not spray or direct jets of water
at the appliance.
3. SWP
SWP heat pumps use heat energy
from the air to produce hot water for
domestic use.
The process takes place in the most
efficient and profitable way, with an
average C.O.P. > 3. The convenient
energy of SWP heat pumps therefore
helps to protect the environment.
