Switched Fabric Connection (Dual-Controller)

 

A channel link bypass is provided on external FC switches. Every application server
shown in the diagram is equipped with two HBAs with FC links via two FC switches
connected to the SFP ports on individual RAID controllers. 

Note!

A logical partition presented through LUN Mapping can be seen by all 
servers across SAN. Ensure users have access control, such as 
file-locking, switch zoning, port binding, etc., to avoid access contention.
