Installing a Hard Drive in the Drive Tray

Open the bezel by pressing the release button, then gently pull out the tray.

Place the hard drive into the drive tray, ensuring that the interface connector is facing
the open side of the drive tray, with the label side facing upwards. 
If you have a MUX board and want to install a SAS drive, the MUX board should be
removed. 

Warning!

The hard drives and drive trays should only be installed after successful 
rackmounting. If the hard drives are installed first, the system will be too 
heavy to handle and the possible impact during installation may damage 
the hard drives.
Handle hard drives with extreme care and observe all ESD prevention 
methods when installing drives.
Only use the screws supplied with the system package. Longer screws 
may damage the drive.
