Troubleshooting Managed

Volumes

This chapter describes how to

show usage statistics for managed volumes,

correct share-import errors,

cleanly remove a namespace and all of its associated configuration objects,

manage file collisions after an import,

•

fix file- and directory-naming issues in a CIFS namespace,

•

fix file- and directory-naming issues in a multi-protocol namespace,

find the exact location of a file on your back-end storage, and

•

show policy usage and history.

This extends the previous chapters, which described tools for collecting diagnostic
information and troubleshooting network connections.
