4  Installation

4.1  Installation area and preconditions

The following preconditions have to be 
considered:

 

■

The installation room must be separate, 
dry and equipped with a properly 
working ventilation and aeration system. 

 

■

Grease separators must be installed on 
level surfaces.

 

■

Appropriate illumination has to be 
available

 

■

Appropriate power and drinking water 
supply must be available

 

■

The open space above the separator 
covers must be at least 50 cm for 
inspection and maintenance works.

 

■

The open space surrounding the 
separator must be at least 50 cm.

4.2  Inflow piping arrangement

The inlet connection is designated for waste water pipes with corresponding outside 
diameters. The connection between pipe system and separator inflow connection can 
be carried out with appropriate sockets (pipes of PE/PP/PVC), welding sockets (PE) or 
clamping rings (pipes of plastic, cast iron).
