Operator’s Manual
- switch the balancer on again.

Carefully repeat the commands with the manual at
hand.
•
Call Technical Service immediately if the unit does
not operate correctly:
WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE
BALANCER IF START-UP SELF TEST IS NOT
SUCCESSFUL.
5.2.3
Shutting down.
Always shut down properly at the end of a work shift:
•
Remove the wheel from the balancer.
•
Remove the cones and quick-release wing nut from
the stub shaft. Check the surfaces (internal and
external) of the cones for damage. The cone is very
important for a good balance quality.
•
Check the thread of the quick-release wing nut.
•
Clean all threads and surfaces with a dry, soft cloth.
•
Store the cones and the quick-release wing nut in
the correct place.
•
Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
•
Check the power cord for damage or wear.
•
Clean up the weight storage areas.
•
Clean the display and control panel with a soft, dry
cloth.
•
Remove old wheel weights and other material from
under the balancer. The balancer must rest stably on
its three feet only.

Settings.
When you switch on the unit, a balancing weight
positioning mode is automatically shown. If the unit
comes up with a balancing weight application mode
different to the one you want, refer to Chapter 5.3.2.
At power up, the units of measurement are ounces for
weight imbalance and inches for wheel parameters.
