Maintenance.
This machine is designed for long service.
At Start Up the operator must check if all indicators
and displays light up.
If the operator shuts down correctly (Chapter 5.2.3) at
the end of his/her shift, no additional maintenance is
required.
This balancer must not be opened by the operator,
unless in accordance with the instructions below.
6.1
Storage.
When the balancer will be stored for several weeks or
longer, prepare the balancer correctly:
•
Shut down the balancer properly, refer to Chapter
5.2.3.
•
Remove the threaded shaft from the balancer.
•
Apply a light, non-corrosive oil onto all threads and
cones.
•
Wrap oiled items in paper to keep the parts dustfree.
When the balancer will be put into use again, clean all
oiled parts.
6.2
Changing the Main Fuse.
Refer to Figure 6.2-1.
•
Switch off the balancer.
•
Unplug the power lead from the power outlet.
•
Remove the power lead from the socket in the
machine.
•
Push the tab at the center of the fuse holder
upwards.
•
Remove the fuse holder (1).
•
Replace the fuse with another with identical rating.
•
Return the balancer to its original state.
