Loosening the telescopic shaft/shafts
For IRB 390 - 10/1300 (5-axis robot): loosen both shafts.

Action
Torque wrench head, closed end:
3HAC063379-001.

Remove the upper screws and washers of the
telescopic shaft, using a special torque wrench
head.

Loosen the upper end of the telescopic shaft and
secure the shaft against a part of the robot with
a cable tie.
CAUTION
Put some soft material between the surfaces, to
protect them from scratches etc.
Note
Keep the sealing ring and friction shim for refitting.
