28 Operation principle and hardware description

Type designation labels of the DC/DC converter module
Each converter module also has type designation labels attached to it. The type
designation stated on the labels contains information on the specifications and
configuration of the module.
Example labels are shown below.

6. Valid markings. See Electrical planning instructions for ACS880 multidrive cabinets and modules
(3AUA0000102324 [English]).
7. Serial number. The first digit of the serial number refers to the manufacturing plant. The next four
digits refer to the unit’s manufacturing year and week, respectively. The remaining digits complete
the serial number so that there are no two units with the same number.
