Starting IP Address

The first IP address in the range to be queried.

Ending IP Address

IP Class Address Checking

This parameter is used only during IP range discovery. 
If you select this parameter (recommended), EMS will 
automatically skip over network and broadcast 
addresses based on the subnet mask.

NOTE

: 3Com recommends making sure this option is 

selected.

Subnet Mask

The subnet mask for this SNMP device.

Timeout (sec)

The SNMP time out, in seconds. The default is 2.

Retrys

The number of times EMS will retry connecting to an 
SNMP device. The default is 2.

SNMP Version

The SNMP version number.
