FM Oscillator Parameters

Parameter

Description

Modulation

Target?

Level

The overall volume level of the output of this

Oscillator.

Range: 0 to 100%

Yes

Waveform

The shape of the carrier signal for this oscillator.

Options: Noise, Sine, Square, Triangle, and Saw

Pulse Width

If Waveform is Square, this controls the width of

the pulses.

Range: 0 to 100%, where 100% is equivalent to one

full cycle, meaning always high.

Yes

Fixed Pitch

The base pitch of the carrier wave, in notes. If the

Waveform is Noise, this will not have any affect.

Range: C#-1 (MIDI 1) through G9 (MIDI 127).

Detune

The amount the pitch should be offset from the

Fixed Pitch. If the Waveform is Noise, this will not

have any affect.

Range: -100.00% to 100.0%, where 100% is

equivalent to one semitone.

St Phase

The starting phase of the carrier wave. Does the

WAV start at 0, at the peak, or somewhere in

between?

Range: 0 to 100%, where 100% is equivalent to 360

degrees, or one full cycle.
