FM OSCILLATOR SOUND SOURCES
You can use two frequency modulated oscillators with most of the razzmatazz
instrument models. Only the Clip and Slicer models do not support FM Oscillators.
You can use either oscillator alone, use them both together, or use neither oscillator
and let the WAV file do all the work. You can use the oscillators with or without a
WAV source. If you do not want to use an oscillator, set the Level to 0.0%.
Configure the FM Oscillators
Touch an FM Oscillator graph on the Pad Dashboard to edit the related settings.
Turn the top knob to select a parameter, and then turn the button knob to select a
value. The pad trigger icon is available here to show when the pad is triggered or to
trigger it to hear your changes. The table on the next page describes the available
options. The parameters are the same for both oscillators.
Push the Layer
button to cycle
between FMOSC1,
FMOSC2 and WAV
screens.
