CRAFT YOUR OWN SOUND

The razzmatazz comes with 120 presets to get you started. You can also customize
these pads extensively or craft your own pads from scratch. When you have a sound
you like, you can save a preset in order to save an entire kit, and you can save an
individual pad to a file for re-use in other pads or presets.

Here’s the general flow for designing the sound for a new pad:

1.

Choose an instrument model

. This configures the various settings to give

you an appropriate starting point for the selected instrument model. It

also sets you up with a group of Macro Controls that have been selected

specifically for that instrument model.

2.

Set up any combination of the three internal sound sources: two

and a sample

3.

Configure the

Configure the FX Sends for the pad on the

FX Sends screen

5.

Configure the effects parameters on the

three FX Settings screens

through 3 in this section. You can choose a model from the Macro Controls screen
or the Pad Dashboard. Push the Right Arrow from the Macro Controls screen to go
to the Pad Dashboard. Here, you can configure the options listed in steps 2 and 3
above.
