WELCOME
Bitbox micro by 1010music is a compact sampling module for eurorack. With bitbox
micro, you can record and play samples, then trigger them using MIDI and CV. Use
bitbox micro to record individual WAV files, or use Auto-sampling to easily create a
sample bank of your favorite MIDI or CV instrument. You can beat sync your clips to an
external clock or use slices to trigger portions of a WAV file. We will start with a quick
walk through of the basic features to get you started. Then we will go deep and cover all

Document Overview
In this manual, we will first quickly make sure you have bitbox micro installed in your
eurorack and set up so you can make some sound with it. After that, we will review the
basic controls and screens. Next, we will walk through how to set up pads including a
description of each of the different pad modes. We will cover the Keys Input mode, how
to apply FX and how to adjust the mix. After that, we will cover presets and global
settings. That will be followed by discussion of how to use MIDI devices with bitbox
micro, along with some more advanced usage features. Lastly, we will delve into
managing bitbox micro firmware and files, touch on a couple of technical specs and
finally tell you where you can find more information about bitbox micro and other
1010music products.
This manual was written for version 1.0.7 of the bitbox micro firmware. If you have an
older version, we strongly recommend that you upgrade. See
