Web Configurator Introduction
This chapter tells how to access and navigate the web configurator.
4.1 Web Configurator Overview
The web configurator allows you to use a web browser to manage the AAM.
4.2 Accessing the Web Configurator
The web configurator is an HTML-based management interface that allows easy AAM setup
and management via Internet browser. Use Internet Explorer 6.0 and later versions. The
recommended screen resolution is 1024 by 768 pixels.
In order to use the web configurator you need to allow:
• Web browser pop-up windows from your device. Web pop-up blocking is enabled by
default in Windows XP SP (Service Pack) 2.
• JavaScripts (enabled by default).
• Java permissions (enabled by default).
4.2.1 Password

Launch your web browser and enter the IP address of the AAM ("192.168.1.1" is the
factory default) in the
Location
or
Address
field. Press
Enter
.

The
Password
screen appears. Type "admin" in the user name field and your password
(factory default "1234") in the password field. Click
OK
.
