7.2.7 Resistance measurement

Figure 7-2 Resistance measurement

First test the multimeter and leads by touching the two leads. The result should show a short circuit

of resistance (very low resistance).

The circuit power must be turned off before testing the resistor.

Disconnect each component from the circuit before testing.

If the multimeter cannot automatically adjust the range, set the correct range (refer to the multimeter

operation manual).

Make sure the multimeter leads are securely connected.

7.2.8 Conduction test

The multimeter needs to use a separate button to initiate the continuity test of the beep.

The circuit power must be turned off before testing the conduction.
