POWER OFF / SHUT DOWN

[Preparation]
Turn power switch off, first the
monitor system then instruments.

[Power Off _ Shut down]
Slide the power switch.
HOLD Function
The H4n features a HOLD function to make
any button operation inactive, preventing errors
during recording.
To make HOLD function valid,
slide the power switch to HOLD.
If you press any button during HOLD
function on, the screen will display ‘Key
Hold’ for two seconds. To get out of the
HOLD mode, reverse the power switch as
the beginning.
