HOW TO USE THE SHUTTLE RING
The shuttle ring is the outer dial. When the VCR is in STOP mode, the shuttle ring can be rotated to the left
or right then released, and the VCR will engage in the REWIND or FAST FORWARD function. While in the
REWIND or FAST FORWARD mode, the shuttle ring can be rotated and held to engage the LOGIC search
mode. Releasing the shuttle ring returns it to the REWIND or FAST FORWARD function.
DURING STILL MODE
When a picture is in still mode, the video can viewed at variable speeds, including slow motion, by rotating
and holding the shuttle ring at different positions. The figure on the right illustrates the action that will occur at
various positions. The VCR returns to the still mode upon release of the shuttle ring.
SHUTTLE RING FEATURES

In the sill mode: rotate the shuttle ring,
variable speed can be adjusted from slow to
search (normal play, double time speed play)
in the direction of forward (or reverse).

In the stop mode: rotate and release the
shuttle ring to rewind or fast forward the tape.

In the normal playback mode: double time
speed and forward search in the direction of
forward (the same function in the direction
reverse).
