The general configuration parameters for the ports are the following:

Physical interface identifier.

Security Type.
It sets if the filtering service by MAC address is active in the
indicated port (
maclist
option), or the 802.1x authorization is used (
dot1x

or no filter is activated (

option).

Max. Addresses.
This sets the maximum number of MAC addresses permitted at
one time in the indicated port.

On max. reached.
This sets the behaviour of the equipment in the event of
reaching the maximum number of MAC addresses permitted, as set in the
preceding parameter. The available options are
