Others
This section deals with three parameters. The first of them selects the hour zone in relation
to UTC.
The second parameter,
Enable periodic reset
, allows users to indicate whether they want
to reboot the equipment automatically every so often. This is selected in days through the
last parameter,

5.1.4
Syslog
This section deals with four parameters. The first of them,
Local Syslog Level
, selects the
maximum level of severity which is stored in the local Log. Valid values are 1 to 8. The
default value is 4.
The levels involve storing all information tagged with a level equal to or lower than the level
specified.
The levels are:

Emergency
: Level
1
Multiple apps/servers/sites. This level should not be used by
applications.
Alert
. Level
2
Should be corrected immediately. An example might be the
loss of the primary ISP connection.
Critical
. Level
3
May be used to indicate a failure in the system’s primary
application.
Error
. Level
4
An application has exceeded it file storage limit and attempts
to write are failing.
Warning
. Level
5
May indicate that an error will occur if action is not taken. For
example, a non-root file system has only 2GB remaining.
Notice
. Level
6
Events that are unusual but not error conditions.
Informational
. Level
7
Normal operational messages -no action required. For
example, an application has started, paused or ended
successfully.
Debugging
. Level
8
Info useful to developers for debugging the application.
