Position Mode
Most controls write the mode to the ZAdyn4B shortly before start-up. This means that the operating
mode must be set in the control.
If the ZAdyn4B is operated in position mode, the shaft encoder must be connected to the same bus as
the ZAdyn4B.
The control system sends the required speed to the ZAdyn4B before every journey. If this cannot be
achieved, the ZAdyn4B will initiate a triangular speed pro
fi
le journey. The maximum speed must
therefore be entered in the control system.
