Brake release monitoring (X-BR)
Information
The brake release monitoring serves as monitoring for redundancy and the operation status of the
brakes.
It is recommended that the brake air monitor be connected to the ZAdyn4B for optimum start-up and
stopping.
When the lock function is activated, the brake release monitoring ful
fi
ls the requirements for self-
monitoring according to chapter 5.6.6 EN81-20 for ascending car overspeed protection means and
chapter 5.6.7 for protection against unintended car movement.
