Connect the lead to the mains power

6.4 carefully.

Fig. 2: Unscrew the bleed valve (8) on the upper part of
the vacuum pump.

Fig. 3: Pour the oil (supplied) until the spy-hole (4) is
reached. The oil level is correct when the spy-hole itself is
half-covered. Plug the intake valve (3) with an
appropriately sized piece of rubber (3) and run the pump
for a few minutes. This operation allows lubrication of
the internal parts of the pump.
Re-check the oil level: top up if necessary.
6.5.1 Introducing the oil
It is forbidden to tamper with the power lead and its plug. When replacing them
owing to damage and/or wear please contact an Authorised Service Centre.
A proper earth connection is compulsory. Should it temporarily be necessary
to use an extension lead the latter must comply with the standards in force
in the country of use.
