DRIVING OPERATION
The button of the rear differential closure
FHSX15N010
The control button for the differential closure is located on the panel on the right rear mudguard.
Switching of the differential closure is performed by pressing the button which is, when released,
automatically returned into its original position.
By pressing the part of the button marked with the symbol of the differential closure, the function of the
manual mode of control of the differential closure is activated.
By pressing the part of the button marked with the AUTO symbol, the function of the automatic mode of the
differential closure is activated.
Activation of the differential closure is indicated with the activated symbol on the switch and the symbol in the
instrument panel display.
It is valid for both manual and automatic mode of the differential closure:
The differential closure cannot be activated when the drive of the front driving axle is not
activated.
When both brake pedals are pressed, the differential closure remains switched on.
When the travel speed higher than 15 km/h for more than 5 seconds is reached, the differential
closure is automatically switched off.
This state indicated by flashing of the button symbol for the time of 5 seconds before the differential
closure is switched off.
If the differential closure is switched off because of the travel speed higher than 15 km/h, the
differential closure is not automatically connected and must be connected by pressing the button
when the travel speed is lowered.
Switching off of the differential closure is performed by pressing the button again or by pressing one of the
brake pedals.
Switching from the manual to the automatic mode can be performed by pressing the button of the automatic
mode.
Automatic control of the differential closure
Switching of the differential closure in the automatic mode is performed by pressing the button which is,
when released, automatically returned into its original position.
This function is switched off by pressing the button again.
Activation of the differential closure is indicated with the activated symbol on the switch and the symbol in the
instrument panel display.
Automatic mode of control of the differential closure
The automatic mode of control of the differential closure consists in disconnection of the differential closure
when some of these situations occur:
1. The arms of the rear three-point hinge are lifted to the position where the clutch of the PTO shaft is
automatically disconnected (more information in chapter POWER OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINES); the
differential closure is automatically activated when the arms of the rear three-point hinge are lowered to the
position where the clutch of the rear PTO shaft is automatically connected
2. The travel speed is higher than 15 km/h, the differential closure is not automatically connected and must
be connected by pressing the button.
Switching from the automatic to the manual mode can be performed by pressing the button of the manual
mode.
Switching off of the differential closure is performed by pressing the auto button again or by pressing one of
the brake pedals.
