10. Test the continuity of the cable with your multimeter. Set your meter to the continuity setting (or
Resistance setting).
a. Test for continuity from the jack tip (the positive point) to the end of the wire with writing. A
continuity tester will beep; a resistance meter should show very low resistance, like, less than
one ohm.
