13. Wiring the IEC power receptacle:
WARNING:
If you make a mistake here, you could expose yourself or others to electric
shock. Double check all your connections.
a. Retrieve the lengths of wire that you cut off the power transformer earlier. Cut each of the two
black wires to 4-1/4” (10.5cm) long.

Strip about 3/16” (4-5mm) of insulation from each
end of both wires.

Tin each end (don’t use too much solder).
b. Now twist the two wires together, to within about 3/8” of each end.

Solder one end of the
pair to the holes labled P5, IEC jack.

c. Solder the end of the wires to the IEC power receptacle, to the two lugs shown in the picture.

It doesn’t matter which wire goes to which lug, JUST MAKE SURE YOU SOLDER THEM TO
THE CORRECT TWO LUGS! Mind the picture.
