Displaying the Instrument Serial Number
To display the instrument’s serial number, proceed as follows:

O button on the right hand side of
the Minigas Mk5.
(3)

(4)
The 8-digit serial number appears on the screen as two
digits in each of the four display banks and is read in the
conventional order:
upper left - upper right - lower left - lower right
The serial number is displayed for eight seconds or for
as long as the
O button is held depressed.
(5)
Release the
O button and the Minigas Mk5 proceeds
with the start-up and self-test sequence.
2.4.3
Datalogging Warnings
One of the requirements of the datalogging facility is that it
should be transparent to the user. That is, the process of logging
the measurement data and alarms should not interfere in any
way with the conventional use of the Minigas Mk5 as a personal
gas monitor. Consequently, any warnings associated with this
facility appear only during the start-up sequence; no indication
is given if any of these conditions occur during use.
