WARNING
For instruments fitted with a carbon dioxide sensor, do not
leave the battery disconnected for more than one hour.
Allow a stabilisation period of twice the time that the unit
spent disconnected from the battery.

The Data Transfer Unit is similar physically to the Minigas
Mk5 battery pack. Fit this unit to the Minigas Mk5 in the
same manner as fitting a battery pack.

Switch on the Minigas Mk5 by pressing and releasing
the I/O button in the usual manner.

Press the
RETURN
key on the computer keyboard to start
the transfer operation (this key is sometimes marked as
ENTER
or
↵
). Alternatively, use the mouse to click on the
computer display START command button.

The computer displays the message:
Trying to Connect With Gas Monitor
followed by:
Log Transfer in Progress
(While data is being transferred from the Minigas Mk5 to
the computer, a progress bar on the computer display
provides an indication of % completed).
and finally:
LOG TRANSFER COMPLETE
Remove Gas Monitor.
