2. USING THE MINIGAS MK5
The Standby Mode cannot be entered if any alarm is active. In the
event of an alarm occurring during Standby Mode, the Minigas
Mk5 returns to Display Mode and shows the relevant screen.
If the explosive gas level increases to half that of the alarm
level (or 10% LEL if no alarm is set) the instrument remains in
Standby Mode but the explosive sensor circuit reverts to
continuous monitoring.
2.13 AUTOROTATE
When the Minigas Mk5 is operating in Display Mode and has the
Autorotate software option configured, the display scrolls through
the available screens allowing approximately three seconds per
screen. If an alarm occurs, the display jumps to the relevant screen
and stays there until the alarm is cancelled. Pressing the I/O button
suspends the Autorotate scrolling action for 10 seconds.
2.14 THE DATALOGGING FACILITY
The datalogging facility enables, typically, 40 hours of exposure
data to be stored either as a fixed log (logging stops when the log
store is full), or as a rotating log (logging continues after the store
is full by overwriting the oldest data). Data can be downloaded for
analysis by means of a Data Transfer Unit, an IBM compatible
personal computer and dedicated LogView software.
For instruments configured with the datalogging option, brief
details of the data transfer procedure are provided in Section 3
of this manual.
For a full description of the datalogging facility, refer to the
LogView Datalogging Software Manual (part no. 059-0258-00).
