Switching on
If the laser manipulation slider is not
yet located in the laser port of the
microscope, insert it according to
•
Visual inspection before switching on: Ensure
that all safety covers (camera ports, fiber
connections) are correctly mounted.
•
Turn on the entire system via the 3 switchable
distributor sockets.
•
Switch on the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 4-4/
1
) of the
signal distribution box.
•
Turn on the laser (key switch on laser bench
tower or rack to
ON
).
•
Bring the required objective into position.
•
Bring required filter set into position.
•
Start the ZEN software (blue edition).
The system is now ready for operation. See Sections 4.5 to 4.7 from page 46.

During Operation
In case of danger, turn the key switch to the
OFF
or
0
position. This will immediately switch off
all laser lines.
4.4
Switching off
•
Turn off the laser (key switch on laser bench tower or rack to
OFF
). This will shut all laser lines down.
•
If required, close the ZEN software (blue edition) and shut down the control computer.
•
Turn off the entire system via the 3 switchable distributor sockets.
