manipulation.

Optical Fibers for the Application of the DirectFRAP Laser Manipulation Slider

The optical fiber needed for this application is mounted to the laser manipulation slider and factory-
adjusted by the manufacturer during system integration. It is delivered along with the slider.

Breaking the seal voids the warranty for the optical fiber!

The optical fibers correspond to the specifications included in the Technical Data (see section 2.9 on

page 33).

Suitability of Lasers for the Application of the DirectFRAP Imaging System

The recommended wavelengths for laser manipulation are 405 nm (50 mW) and 488 nm (100 mW).
