Encoding from HDMI or Composite In
The Z3-SBE264-10 also supports encode via HDMI or Composite In. The HDMI or Composite In can be
used in parallel with the SDI In. A Composite Adapter Cable, provided with the Z3-SBE264-10, is needed
for the Composite In. To encode with either HDMI or Composite In, perform the following steps:

Click on the “CH2” tab. If it is not there, click on “+” to generate this additional tab and then click
on it.

The channel 2 tab appears.

Use the “Video Source” dropdown menu to specify either “HDMI” or “Composite” video input.

If composite encode is desired, a special composite adapter cable is needed. The yellow
connector connects to the composite output of the video source, while the red and white
connectors connect to the analog audio outputs.
