5.5.1 Operating the Calibrator for Frequency
Measurement
Step 1:
Using the function selector switch, select
FREQ 30Vmax
.
Step 2:
Using the
key, select 100 Hz, 1000 Hz or 10 kHz.
Pressing the key cycles through the 100 Hz, 1000 Hz,
10 kHz, CPM and CPH options.
Note however that the range reading of the LCD is
given as shown below (when no signal is present).

5.5.2 Operating the Calibrator for Measuring Number of
Pulses
The CPM option in this measurement counts pulses per minute,
while the CPH option counts pulses per hour.
Step 1:
Using the function selector switch, select
FREQ 30Vmax
.
Step 2:
Using the
key, select either
CPM
or
CPH
.
Pressing the key cycles through the 100 Hz, 1000 Hz,
10 kHz, CPM and CPH options.
Step 3:
The
indicator turns on and the calibrator goes into
a standby-for-counting state.
The calibrator begins counting pulses the moment
the
key is pressed to cancel the hold state.
